This operation took place in Merak, Indonesia and it involved the transportation and exchange of the old heat exchanger with a new one by skidding. The project utilises 2 units 6 axlelines Goldhofer trailer ,1 unit 6 axlelines self propelled trailer and jacking tools.



Moving through Merak petro chemical plant in Indonesia.
Negotiating a narrow turn in the Chemical plant which makes the self propelled stands out. The Goldhofer trailer is used often because of its power, movement and self jacking system thus making it a main component in our operations.

Shown is the various steps involved in the skidding of the 180 Tons old heat exchanger measuring 9.0 x 5.0 x 6.5m.
