Crawler Cranes Singapore

Yew Choon operates a fleet of crawler cranes across Singapore for heavy lift operations in industrial, offshore, marine and construction projects. Crawler cranes are assembled on site and can travel short distances on their caterpillar tracks, making them well suited for rough or uneven terrain where other cranes cannot operate safely.

Unlike mobile cranes, crawler cranes are able to lift a load and travel with the load still in the hook — known as pick-and-carry — making them ideal for repositioning heavy cargo across a site without setting the load down.

Crawler Crane Features

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the lifting capacity of your crawler cranes?

Our crawler crane fleet ranges from 50 to 750 tons, covering a wide range of heavy lift requirements in Singapore.

When should I use a crawler crane instead of a mobile crane?

Crawler cranes are better suited for very heavy lifts, soft or uneven ground, and pick-and-carry operations. For lighter, shorter-duration lifts on firm ground, a mobile crane may be more efficient.

Can crawler cranes be used for offshore and marine projects?

Yes, crawler cranes are commonly used in shipyards and at quaysides to support marine transportation and loadout operations.
