Yew Choon owns a fleet of tugs and barges for marine transportation needs.

Our yard has its own private jetty. The jetty is designed to enable Roll on/Roll off (Ro-Ro) of oversized and heavy cargo from a barge to our jetty and vice versa.

Our barges are equipped with build-in coupling beams at the front of the barge. In order to prevent movement of the Ro-Ro ramps, they are secured into the coupling beams by means of a hook connection. All our barges have ballasting capabilities and are duly certified for ballast operation.
